Caravaggio Experience Walking Tour

Explore Rome through the eyes of the artist Caravaggio on a guided walking tour. Visit Baroque churches, see masterpieces, and learn about the artist’s life and revolutionary techniques.

Begin your tour by meeting your guide and setting off on a walking tour through the historic heart of Rome. Visit elegant Baroque churches that quietly house some of Caravaggio’s most powerful masterpieces, still displayed in the very places for which they were created.

As you move from one atmospheric setting to the next, your guide will weave together stories of artistic brilliance, scandal, exile, and innovation, bringing each painting to life through its hidden symbolism, dramatic contrasts of light and shadow, and the turbulent life of the artist himself.
